Obituary

Deborah Griffin, of Plymouth, daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Almeida) Moniz, passed away at the Golden Living Center after a brief illness at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of the late George “Dellie” Griffin and long time companion of the late Richard Yule. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Rawson and her husband David of Oldsmar, FL; Carole Bruder and Marie Graham both of Plymouth. She also leaves her brother Daniel Perry of Oak Park, IL and her sisters Mary “Mercy” Tavares of Plymouth, Dorothy Vacca of Plymouth and Lois Miranda of Carver, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Clement Perry, John P. Moniz, Manuel Perry, Benjamin Perry and Herminia Darulla. A life long resident of Plymouth, she was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the VFW and the Moose Lodge and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. A funeral service will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt. 3A), N. Plymouth on Saturday December 20th at 10 AM followed by burial at Vine Hills Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 19th from 4 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Parkinson Disease Association, 720 Harrison Ave, Boston, MA 02111.
