Obituary

LOWELL - Blanche M. (Koziol) Skoczolek, 94, a resident of Lowell, died Tuesday December 16th at Willow Manor Nursing Home in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Stanley J. Skoczolek Sr.

She was born in Lowell on October 10, 1914, and was the daughter of the late John K. and Mary (Tabak) Koziol who were part of the original founders of Holy Trinity Church in Lowell.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed for many years as a seamstress.

In her free time she enjoyed sewing and she was an avid knitter.

She was a communicant of the Catholic Church of the Holy Trinity in Lowell, a member and past president of the church's Holy Rosary Sodality, a member of the Lowell Polish Senior Citizens, and the Polish American Veterans Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by a daughter Dolores Dubois of Chalfont, PA; a son Stanley J. Skoczolek Jr and his wife Simonne of Chelmsford; five grandchildren Barbara, Nadine, Philip, Stephen, and Sandra; numerous great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late William Koziol.

Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Friday from 9:30 until 10:30 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 AM at Holy Trinity Church in Lowell. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Lowell. For online condolences please use the icon below.
