Susan M. Champ, 82, of Academy Pointe, Mystic, a longtime resident of North Water Street, Stonington, died Sunday evening at the Westerly Hospital.
Mrs. Champ was born in Hazardville, CT on May 20, 1920 the daughter of the late John and Dora (Fischer) Savage.
She married Oliver C. Champ on May 10, 1942. Mr. Champ died in 1990.
She is survived by two sons, David M. Champ and his wife Leslie of Pawcatuck, and Robert C. Champ of Stonington, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Richard C. Champ.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, historic downtown Mystic on Wednesday evening from 6-8pm. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 11am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Stonington Cemetery.
