WORCESTER-Pauline M. (Tolman) Banfill, 75, of San Bernadino, CA, formerly of Worcester, died Thursday, December 11th in her home. Her husband, Alfred F. Banfill, died in 1965. She leaves four sons, Francis A. Banfill and his wife Cheryl of Worcester, Alfred W. Banfill and his wife Carolin of Oxford, Douglas B. Banfill and his wife Sandy of AZ and Gary R. Banfill and his wife Susana of CA, with whom she lived; six brothers, Richard D. Tolman of NH and FL, Verne W. Tolman of Worcester, Robert P. Tolman and his wife Marcia of Cherry Valley, John L. Tolman of FL, Albert R. Tolman and his wife Sharl of AZ and Wayne D. Tolman of NM; a sister, Marie R. Zollo and her husband Vincent of Worcester; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. A daughter, Charlene M. Banfill, died in 1963.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Richard and Rose (Guillaume) Tolman and graduated from Holy Name High School. Mrs. Banfill enjoyed shopping, going to the casinos and was a wonderful caregiver to her family. She was a former member of Holy Name of Jesus Church.
The funeral is Friday, December 19th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 37 Massasoit Road. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 8:30 until 9:30 A.M. Friday in the funeral home.
