WORCESTER-Louise E. (Mullen) Bohigian, 79, of Worcester, died Tuesday, December 9th in St. Vincent Hospital. Her husband of 23 years, Jacob Bohigian died in 1973. She leaves seven children, Gail Peters, Mary Morel, Paul, Alfred, Richard, Thomas and Deborah; nineteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild. Two sons, Robert and Jacob Bohigian, Jr. and two brothers, James and William Mullen predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Alfred J. and Eleanor M. (Noonan) Mullen. Mrs. Bohigian was a 1947 graduate of South High School. She was a homemaker for most of her life and later worked in the healthcare profession for many years until her retirement in 1985. Mrs. Bohigian enjoyed art, reading, homemaking and walking.
Funeral services and burial are private. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, December 13th from 9:00 until 10:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
