CYMERMAN, Theodore J. age 88 of Teaneck, NJ formerly of Jersey City, NJ died Tuesday December 9, 2008. Beloved husband of Ann H. (nee: Wasielewska). Devoted father of Joseph and wife Elizabeth, and Barbara Cymerman. Dear brother of Peter and wife Theresa, Elizabeth Murphy and husband Jim, Marie Mango and husband Donald. Loving grandfather of John and Steven. Theodore served his country during WWII in the United States Army. He earned the rank of Sergeant and was attached to McArthur’s headquarters in the Communications Division and Signal Corps. He served for 35 months overseas in Australia, New Guinea and Manila.
Theodore was an avid golfer for many years and often played at Overpeck Golf Course in Teaneck, NJ. He was also a full time parishioner at St. Anastasia’s RCC – Teaneck, NJ. A memorial Mass will take place this Saturday (all meet at church) - 10AM at his parish. Visitation will be at Volk Leber Funeral Home 789 Teaneck Rd. Teaneck, NJ on Friday from 2-4PM only.
