Obituary

PEARL, JAMES C. "JIM", 69, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at his home.
He was a native of Grayson County, Kentucky and a Catholic by faith. He was retired from Brown Williamson Tobacco Company as a packer-shop steward. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and MSGR Newman Council 4665.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Georgia (Calvert); father, Harley Paul Pearl; and sisters, Gloria J. Meredith and Ruth Dooley.
He is survived by his sons, Charles Pearl (Linda) and Daryl W. Pearl; two granddaughters, Tonya Graham and Darla Shutts (Gene); five great-grandchildren, Briahna Graham, Destiny Graham, Mackenzie Graham, Madison Shutts and Kadence Franklin; twin brother, Jack Pearl and brother, Todd Pearl; sisters Mary Ford Davis, and Florence Clark; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His service will be 11a.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial in Highfill Cemetery in Tazwell, IN.
