Dorothy D. Galbraith, 84, Clarksville, died Monday, December 8, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2 PM Wednesday at Melton Funeral Home, Providence, KY with Rev. Fred Harrison officiating. Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am until time of service Wednesday at Melton Funeral Home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born February 24, 1924 in Providence, KY daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Head and Mary Jane Wiseman Head. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Galbraith. Mrs. Galbraith was a member of Second Baptist Church in Providence, KY where she was a Bible Class teacher. Survivors include a son, Robert Harold Galbraith (Mary), Clarksville; two brothers, Eugene Head, Providence, KY; and Curtis Head (Anna), Henderson, KY; a sister, Faye Mitchell (Gene), Providence, KY; four grandchildren, Rob Galbraith, Michele Butler, Cindy Kircher, and Alicia McQueen and six great-grandchildren, Hunter Galbraith, Sarah Catherine Galbraith, Drew Kircher, Ansley Kircher, Lily Butler, and Wyatt McQueen.
