Alice A. (Leach) Petti, 93, died at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center, in Brockton, Sunday, Dec. 7, after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Albert C. Petti Sr., born and educated in Halifax, she resided in Brockton for many years, before moving to West Bridgewater from 1986-2003, where she resided at Matfield Woods. She returned to Brockton in 2003. Mrs. Petti was a homemaker. She was a former member of Matfield Woods Association. Mrs. Petti enjoyed baking cookies and snacks for every holiday and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Petti is survived by her doting sons, Albert C. Petti Jr. and his wife Patricia of Easton and Richard W. "Chico" Petti and his wife Patricia of Sharon, formerly of Brockton. She is also survived by 5 loving grandchildren, Andrew Petti and his wife Ericka of Brockton, Michael Petti and his wife Christine of Huntington Manor, N.Y., Laura Schiffer and her husband David of Brockton, Christopher Petti and his wife Maria of Raynham and Michelle Petti of Easton. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren which she adored. She was the sister of the late Charlotte Veronesi, Dorothy Holmes and William Leach.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, December 11 at 8:45 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Ann’s Church, West Bridgewater at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Brockton.
