Obituary

Joseph A. Gulino, passed away at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford, on Wednesday evening following a lengthy illness. The husband of Matilda M. (Radocchia) he was 76 yeras old.

Born and raised in Medford, he was the son of the late Josephine (Strazzere) and Gaetano Gulino. He was a graduate of Medford High School, and has made his home in Woburn for the last five years, a former forty-seven year resident of Medford.

For over thirty years Joe operated Guysons Restaurant on Congres St. In Boston untill 1973, he then worked as a chef for M.I.T. retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Malden Moose Lodge, and a US Army Veteran of World War II. He enjoyed bowling and most of all being with his family and especially his grandchildren

In addition to his wife Matilda, he is survived by his two daughters Maryellen Silvani and her husband Leonard of Hampton, NH., and Janice Mondi and her husband Domenic of Woburn. One son Joseph Gulino and his wife Stormy of Tewksbury. Eight loving grandchildren. Two sisters; Nancy Consilvio of NH., and Frances Culici of Belmont. He was predeceased by a his brothers Vincent and Frank Gulino and a sister Rosaria Celeste.

His funeral will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, on Saturday, May 3, at 10:30 a.m. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 851 Main St. Woburn at 11. Services will conclude with burial at Woodbrook Cemetery. Woburn.

Friends may visit with the family, at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
