Mr. Charles P. “Red’ Chase, Sr.
Obituary 12/2/2008

Methuen: Mr. Charles P. “Red” Chase, Sr., 83, of 142 Pleasant Valley Street, died Monday at the Holy Family Hospital. Born in Fitzwilliam, NH, Mr. Chase had been an area resident for the past 59 years. He was a member of St. Monica Parish and the American Legion Post 122. Mr. Chase owned and operated Red’s Diner in Lawrence for many years. He was a veteran of W.W. 2 having served with the U.S. Army Air Corps.
Mr. Chase is survived by:
his wife: Annette (Houle) Chase
1 daughter: Mary Ellen & her husband Lionel “Pete” Levesque of Salem, NH
1 son: Charles P. Chase, Jr. & his wife Cher of Fair Oaks, CA
1 sister: Eliza Popple of Fitzwilliam, NH
There are 3 grandchildren: Melissa wife of Thomas Lynch Hampstead, NH
Rebecca wife of Perry Belanger Salem, NH
Keith Levesque of Methuen
7 great-grandchildren: Amanda, Jonathan, Sebastian, Sabrina, Samantha, Aurora and Orion. and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 am, at St. Monica Church. Burial will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, at the Racicot Funeral Home, 256 Broadway, Lawrence.
