New Haven, Conn. – Louis D. Perry Jr., age 76 years, died unexpectedly at home. He was the son of the late Louis D. Perry Sr. and Frances J. (Hecner) Perry. Mr. Perry is survived by his brothers John B. Perry and his wife Jeanne of Fairhaven and William D. Perry and his wife Anna of New Bedford and his sister Carol A. Davis and her husband Donald of Helena, Montana. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews. Mr. Perry was the brother of the late Dorothy Guilherme.
Mr. Perry was born in New Bedford and lived in this area for the earlier part of his life, moving to Conneticut over 40 years ago. He was an English teacher at the West Hempstead High School, N.Y. until his retirement. Mr. Perry was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.
In accordance with his wishes Mr. Perry will be cremated. Burial of his ashes and a memorial will be private at the convenience of the family.
