Obituary

METHUEN – Eugene A. Houle age 92 died Friday November 28, 2008 at the Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover, MA.

Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, he was the son of Archille and Rose (Dubois) Houle. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army, where he received the American Defense Service Medal, the European African Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal and was honorably discharged from service. For many years he worked at Goguen Radio and prior to his retirement 15 years at Raytheon in Andover.

According to his family he enjoyed gardening and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.

The widower of Eleanor L. (Anderson) Houle, he is survived by his three sons and one daughter, Roy W. Marceau and his wife Marcelle of Salem, NH, Wilfred H. Marceau and his wife Donna of Windham, NH, Robert T. Marceau and his wife Maureen of Methuen and Virginia M. Kamp and her husband Len of Berkeley, California.
11 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Academy Manor Nursing Home 89 Morton Street Andover, MA 01810. At the families request all services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844.
