Carmen C. Lombardo, 90 of Medford, died Tuesday in Brighten At Medford Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Mary D. (Callahan) Lombardo. Born in Pocahontas, W. VA, he was the son of the late Philip and Florence (Crusenso) Lombardo. He had been a resident of Medford for the past 38 years. He worked as a Painter on various projects throughout the city. He had been a member of the Amvets #0048 in Winthrop and was a life member of the Winthrop Lodge of Elks # 1078. In his spare time he enjoyed dancing and spending time with his grand and great grandchildren.
He is survived by one daughter: Linda Guenther and her husband Robert of Tewksbury, two sons: Robert of Stoneham and Philip Lombardo of Medford. Grandfather of Philip, Robert and Charles Lombardo, Kendra Ahern, Kricket Caputo, Stacey, Radil and Dana Messina. He also leaves 6 Great Grandchildren. Brother of Rose Trabucco of Burlington, John and Salvatore Lombardo. Predeceased by 2 sisters, Florence LaQuaglia and Angie Tripodi. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street MEDFORD on Saturday at 9 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford at 10 am. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Community Mausoleum, Malden. Friends may call Friday from 4 thru 8 at Dello Russo Funeral Home.
