Obituary

Jesse F. Richardson, age 85, of 265 Elm St., Noank, died Wednesday at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital where he was admitted Easter Sunday.

Jesse was born in Texas on June 4, 1917 the son of Jesse Richardson and Carrie Richardson Baughman. Raised in Texas, he was a 1935 graduate of Alamo Hghts. High School. He later entered the US Navy serving during World War II before being honorably discharged in 1945.

He later entered the US Army where he served from 1948-1953.

After serving his country, he accepted a position at Union Carbide Co. on san Francisco, where he worked as a foreman from 1955 until his retirement in 1977.

He and his wife, Beverley Corrine Richardson, whom he married in 1975, moved to Noank in 1985.

In addition to his wife, Jesse leaves three children, Floyd Richardson of Va., and Patresa Richardson and Jacqueline Mawyer, both of Texas, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandsons. He was predeceased by a brother and two sisters.

At Jesse’s request, services will be private. There are no visiting hours. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Assn., 300 Research Pkwy., Meriden CT 06450 or the American heart Assn., 5 Brookside Dr., Wallingford CT 06492.
