LOWELL—William Morales, 62 years old, a resident of Lowell for many years, died Saturday afternoon, November 22nd, at Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband of Alicia (Castaneda) Morales, who survives him.
He was born in Comerio, Puerto Rico, on September 13, 1946, a son of the late Luciano and Hercelia (Rodriguez) Morales, and was educated in Puerto Rico. He moved to the Lowell area over 45 years ago.
Surviving him besides his wife are a son: William Morales, of Lowell; two brothers: Jose and Orlando Morales, both of Lowell; four sisters: Milagros Colon, of Fitchburg; Maria Rivera, of West Palm Beach, FL; Carmen Rodriguez, and Myrna Ospina, both of Lowell;; also many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Luis Morales, Roberto Morales, and Ruth Marrero.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 25th at the MAHONEY FUNAERL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). His Funeral Mass to be offered Wednesday, November 26th at ST. PATRICK’S CHURCH, Lowell. Burial in the Westlawn Cemetery.
