Mark R. Chaperon, 52, of Chester, NH, died Monday, December 1, 2008 in the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, NH following a courageous battle with cancer. Mr. Chaperon was born in Nashua, NH on June 26, 1956, a son of George C. Chaperon and the late Florence R. (Ermala) Chaperon. He was a resident of Chester for the past 25 years. Mark graduated from Nashua High School. He started working for Kimark Specialty Box at the age of 15 and worked his way up to Vice President. He eventually was to become owner of Kimark. He enjoyed bass fishing, playing blues/rock guitar, riding his Harley and muscle cars. He was a backyard mechanic who enjoyed working on and restoring cars. Most importantly, he was religious man who enjoyed helping people. He was a servant of God who loved his life and took pride in being a good family man.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Catherine Chaperon of Chester, two daughters, Amy R. Chaperon of Chester, Anne E. Chaperon of Chester, a son, Luke R. Chaperon of Chester, his father, George Chaperon of Chester, and a sister, Kim Abbotts of Derry, NH.
Visiting hours were held 4-8pm Thursday, December 4, 2008 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, NH. The funeral service was held on Friday at 10:00am in the funeral home. The burial was in the Great Hill Cemetery, Chester.
