Prudence Mae (Percy) Chadwick, 77, of Westport passed away unexpectedly on November 28, 2008 at St. Anne’s Hospital with her friends Michael and Claire Sullivan by her side.
She was the loving wife of the late Ernest J. Chadwick. Born and educated in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Gerald A. and M. Louise (Hathaway) Percy.
Pru was a lover of all animals, but most especially cats and dedicated her life to their aid. She was an avid reader and her favorite pastime was genealogy.
She is survived by 2 cousins: Mary Damazio and her husband John and Patricia Bray and her husband Edward; and devoted friends: Thelma and Joanne D’Augustino, Shirley Robbins, Jessica and Arnold Johnson, Edie Wood and Edward Tarkinson.
At the request of Mrs. Chadwick, calling hours are respectfully omitted and burial will be private.
