HUBNER- Of Chelsea, at Karcher Hall, St. Mary of the Woods, Indiana on Holy Thursday, April 17th at the age of 71. Devoted gaughter of the late Charles A. and Helen Gertrude (Farley) Hubner. Beloved sister of the late Augustus Charles Hubner and Eleanor M. Carroll. Lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. Sister Eleanor Marie entered the Congregation of the Sisters of Providence on July 22, 1950, professed First Vows on January 23, 1953 and Final Vows on January 23, 1956. Sister Eleanor Marie taught in schools staffed by the Sisters of Providence in Indiana, Illinois, New Hampshire and until her illness as Principle of St. Rose School for over 34 years. A Mass of Christian Burial was held in the Church of the Immaculate Conception with the Reverend Daniel R. Hopcus, presiding followed by interment in the Cemetery of the Sisters of Providence, St. Mary of the Woods, Indiana. In recognizing her lifelong devotion for her city and her Parish of St. Rose of Lima, a Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday morning, May 3rd at St. Rose Church, 600 Broadway, Chelsea at 11 AM followed by a Fellowship Gathering immediately following in the St. Rose School Hall
