Martinez, GA – On November 28, 2008, only 4 months of age, Maximus Cortes departed the earth to be with our heavenly father. This little angels smile could melt the hearts of those around him and though he never spoke a word, his thoughts could always be heard with a simple look into his eyes. With Maximus passing we remind others that his life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss him everyday, especially his winning smile and signature stare, he will always remain forever in our hearts. He came with a very important purpose and for that we are forever grateful. He will truly be missed by all. He is survived by his mother Millicent Cortes, grandparents Jose & Veronica Gonzalez and several aunts and uncles (Carol & Alex Ortiz, Yvette, Sebastian & Alina Gonzalez, Adrian & Angelica Gonzalez). Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday December 3, 2008 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
