Robert F. Dunham passed away at home with his daughter Judy and son Steven by his
bedside in Plymouth at the age of 91. Born in Plymouth on August 1, 1917, the son of Alma (Larkin) and Benjamin Dunham and predeceased by his wife Lois Holmes Dunham. They were married for 69 years. Robert was a graduate of Plymouth High School and started life as a baker working for his father in his Plymouth Bakery on Market Street. He then drove a bus for P&B for 15 years. He then returned to baking at his own bakery, Plymouth Baking C., for another 10 years until Urban Renewal took it. He managed the A&W Root Beer stand for 2 years and then was a supervisor at Arnold Trailer for 8 years. Prior to his retirement in 1987, he worked for Dunkin Donuts in Kingston for 6 years. He is survived by his son Richard and wife Loretta of Flagler Beach, FL; his daughter Judith Fortini and her husband Norman of Plymouth and his son Steven and his wife Maureen of Plymouth. He had 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, who he loved very much. He was the brother of the late Esther Mercer, Mabel Boutin and Ernest Dunham. A funeral will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth on Wednesday December 3rd at 11 AM. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday December 2nd from 4 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Cranberry Area Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Cr, Suite 326, Plymouth, MA Burial will be at a later date in Vine Hills Cemetery.
