WORCESTER-Carol A. (Proal) Parslow, 69, of Worcester, died Saturday, November 29th in the Jewish Healthcare Center. Her husband of 40 years, Donald R. Parslow, Sr. died in 1997. She leaves a son, Donald R. Parslow, Jr. of Worcester; a brother, Robert Proal and his wife Mary of Auburn; two sisters, Nancy Loftus and her husband Francis of Auburn and Ruth Orne of Worcester; several nephews and nieces. Her daughter, Patricia Ann Parslow died in 1991.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Andrew and Jane (Tucker) Proal. Mrs. Parslow was employed by Shaw’s Supermarket on Goldstar Boulevard as a cashier for more than 20 years and had previously been employed by Iandoli Market. She was a member of the Worcester Senior Center and the 49er’s Club and a former member of Pine Ridge Country Club in North Oxford. Mrs. Parslow enjoyed golfing and bowling.
The funeral is Tuesday, December 2nd with a service at 10:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Monday, December 1st from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
