
Angiolina Pizzi, 76, passed away at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on November 24th, 2008. She was born in Miranda, Italy on April 24th, 1932 to her parents Frederico and Genovetta Marucci. Angiolina was raised and educated in Miranda, Italy. She and her family immigrated to the United States in 1966, settling in Medford. For many years, Angiolina worked as a Seamstress in the garment industry. She was a homemaker who was devoted to her family. Angiolina is survived by her husband, Antonio “Tony” Pizzi; by her daughters, Filomena “Phyllis” Vasquez and her husband Gerald J. Vasquez of Medford and Lucy Pizzi of Medford; by her grandson, Gerald J. Vasquez Jr. of Medford and by her sister, Filomena Marucci of Miranda, Italy. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Saturday November 29th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday November 28th from 4-8 PM.
