Gary Glenn Sleigh, 71, Cumberland City, TN, died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at Gateway Medical. The funeral will be held at 2 P.M. Saturday at Blooming Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Artes Waynick officiating. Burial will be in Blooming Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the hour of service Saturday at the church. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born in Montgomery County son of the late Simmon Carl Sleigh and Evie Thomas Sleigh. He was a retired contractor. While growing up he attended Blooming Grove Baptist Church. He currently attended Scott's Chapel Baptist Church.
He is survived by one son, Mike (Sazanne) Harris, Clarksville, two daughters, Sherry Bivin (Randy), Owensboro, KY, and Connie Sleigh; two brothers, Maurice and Howard Sleigh both of Clarksville; three sisters, Joyce Lindsey,Smyrna; Beatrice Perry, Clarksville and Virginia Larsen, Washington; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
