Lucille F. Rock Wilcox 74, 0f 463 South Main St. Woonsocket, died Saturday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of George E. Wilcox and the late Robert G. Rock Sr. Lucille was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Arthur V. and Blandine (Beaudoin) Fournier. She was a self-employed Interior Decorator for several years. She was a member and past president of the American-French Genealogical Society and was instrumental in publishing one of their first cookbooks. She was an accomplished bridge player winning the RI Bridge Championship. She taught Corel Draw computer classes online with as many as sixty students per class. Lucille loved to cook and had written and printed her own cookbook.
Besides her husband she leaves two children Denise Harker of Alpharetta, GA., and Robert G. Rock Jr. of Webster, NY., a brother, Robert R. Fournier Sr. of Woonsocket, and six grandchildren, including Robert G. Rock III of Webster, NY. She was also the sister of the late Muriel G. Fournier, Raymond A. Fournier, and Lorraine F. Darling.
Her funeral will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. with a service in the Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery. Visiting hours are Friday 4-7 PM.
