Dorothy (Porcella) Bezis, a long-time Medford resident, died Monday morning at the Golden Living Center. She was 84.
Dotty was born in Dorchester and raised in Medford, the daughter of the late Philip and the late Lillian (Silva) Porcella. A dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Dotty was devoted to her family and a good friend and neighbor to many.
She was the beloved mother of the late Michael and Ronald Bezis. She was a devoted mother-in-law to Ann Bezis of Medford. She was a loving grandmother to Ronald Bezis of Haverhill, Lisa Lovett of Chelmsford and a loving great-grandmother to Rose Lovett. She was a dear sister to the late Philip and James Porcella.
Her Funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Friday morning 8:30-10:30. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
