Richard P. Clancy of Eastham died on Monday, November 24, 2008 at Metro West Medical Center in Framingham. He was 66 years old. Born in Boston, Rick grew up in Needham and was a graduate of Needham High School Class of 1961. Mr. Clancy was also a graduate of Saint Anselm College Class of 1965. He was a longtime employee of Prudential Insurance and most recently was employed by Harvard Pilgrim Healthcare as a Client Relations Manager. Rick enjoyed Jazz and had his own show on WOMR Radio in Provincetown. He was the father of Scott Clancy and his wife Rachel of Ayer and the late Keith Clancy. He was the brother of Glen Clancy of Wilton CT, Kyle Harcourt of Medfield and the late Gary Clancy. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Saturday, Nov. 29 at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours on Friday from 4-7 PM.
