CHARLOTTE, NC-Lawrence J. Sisko, Jr., 52, formerly of Worcester died Friday, January 31st at Presbyterian Hospital. He leaves his wife, Deborah (Strong) Sisko, a son, Lawrence E. Sisko; a daughter, dawn M. Meldrum; 4 brothers, Arthur T.. and William C. of Worcester, Robert L. of Brooklyn, CT, Stephen J. of Auburn; a sister, Mary E. Sisko of Auburn and many nieces and nephews. His son, Craig F. Sisko predeceased him.
He was born in Worcester, MA the son of Lawrence J. Sisko, Sr. and Catherine T. (Foley) Sisko and moved to Charlotte in 1993. He served as an electrician in the U.S. Navy and was a Disabled Veteran of Vietnam. He later attended University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Mr. Sisko was a process manager at the Charlotte Distribution Center of the T.J. Maxx Companies.
Cremation took place in Charlotte. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 29th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue (oconnorbrothers.com), Worcester with a service to take place at 8:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be Wednesday, April 30th in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester following his mother’s funeral.
