WORCESTER-Catherine T. (Foley) Sisko, 72, of 24 Seymour Street died Saturday, April 26th in Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston after an illness. Her husband, Lawrence J. Sisko died in 1985. She leaves 4 sons, Arthur T. and William C. Sisko both of Worcester, Robert L. Sisko of Brooklyn, CT, Stephen J. Sisko of Auburn; a daughter, Mary E. Sisko of Auburn; a brother, James J. Foley of Marietta, CA; a sister, Mary M. Sidoti of Rutland 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A son, Lawrence J. Sisko, Jr. died in January. A brother, Charles A. Foley and 2 grandchildren also predeceased her.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of Charles J. Foley, Jr. and Mary M. (Markley) Foley and lived here all her life. She graduated from Commerce High School. Mrs. Sisko held various positions in the local area most recently being owner of Northeast Dispatch, a trucking brokerage firm. Previously she worked as a supervisor in the auditing department for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue for 15 years retiring in 1999. She was a member of the Civil Air Patrol, the Mother’s Club of Belmont Street School, a founding member of the Mother of Twins Club and a founding member of Our Lady of Fatima Church. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved the ocean and traveling.
The funeral will be Wednesday, April 30th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue (oconnorbrothers.com) with a mass at 10:00 AM in St. Bernard’s Church, 228 Lincoln Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 29th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Covenant House, P.O.
