Elsie “Sis” B. Cossar, age 81, of Derry, NH, passed away on Sunday, November 23, 2008 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry after short illness. Born in Salem, NH, she was a daughter of the late Edmond S. and Elsie B. (Weber) Meehan.
Mrs. Cossar a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, she is survived by her husband, Robert Francis Cossar of 62 1/2 years; one daughter, Heidi Anna Cossar; two sons, Russell Wayne Cossar and Howard Scott Cossar. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Russell, Kathy and Shannon and five great grandchildren.
Visiting hours were held on Wednesday, November 26, 2008 from 9-11 am at Peabody Funeral Home and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, with a service that followed at 11am in the funeral home. Interment followed at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA.
