Rose J. (Perna) DiGiandomenico passed away on November 22, 2008. She was 90 years old.
Born in Malden, Rose was a longtime resident of both Malden and Medford. She was the daughter of the late Camillo and Cecelia Marriotta Perna. Rose was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Italy, Malden and a Girl Scout Leader for 25 years.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband Albert J. DiGiandomenico. She was the loving mother of Diane L. Ward and her husband Gerald of North Carolina and the dear sister of Joseph Perna and Tina Masciarelli. Rose was the cherished grandmother of Dr. Stephen M. Ward of Texas and Jeffrey A. Ward of Mansfield and the great-grandmother of Priscilla Josephine Ward and Dresden Michael Ward.
The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, November 26th at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Tuesday, November 25th from 4-8 p.m. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
