Louise A. (DeLuca) Stiffler of Woburn formerly of Somerville, passed away at the Melrose - Wakefield Hospital in Melrose following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Grant F. "Stiffy" Stiffler. Born in Boston sixty- eight years ago, she was the daughter of the late Louise (DeSisto) and David DeLuca. Louise made her home in Somerville for sixty-five years before moving to Woburn to be with her children for the last three years in Woburn. She worked for many years in the housekeeping department of the New England Memorial Hospital in Stoneham. Louise enjoyed being with her family in particular her grandchildren, most recently she enjoyed knitting and always loved the company of her pet dog Pearl. In addition to her late husband grant she was predeceased by her brother Carmen DeLuca. She is survived by her daughter Louise A. Marshall, her son Edward Stiffler and his wife Diane, her grandchildren Joseph Marshall and his wife Sherry, Samantha Marshall, Daniel and Bradley Stiffler, and her brother David all of Woburn Her funeral service will be held in the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St. Woburn, on Wednesday, November 26, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Visiting Hours are on Tuesday, November 25, from 4 thru 8.
