Worcester—Daniel C. Bronzo, 78, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, in Saint Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife of 53 years Joyce M. (Hilli) Bronzo; 4 sons Daniel C., Jr., Michael W., Brian A., and Mark A. and his wife Shannon—all of Worcester; 5 daughters Nancy J. Bronzo, Susan K. Bronzo, Janice M. Distefano and her husband Matthew, and Gina M. Bronzo—all of Worcester, and Brenda J. Depiro and her husband Vito of Shrewsbury; a brother, Norman R. Bronzo; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews.
He was born in Worcester, son of Fannie J. (Niemi) and Vito Bronzo. Daniel was a graduate of Commerce High School Class of 1948 and a Korean War Army Veteran. He worked at Wyman Gordon Co. for 42 years. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, VFW (life-time member), United Commercial Travelers (past member), and was an avid bowler. Daniel enjoyed summers at Old Orchard Beach. His greatest love was spending time with his family.
Calling hours will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Monday, Nov. 24, 5-8 p.m. The funeral will be Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m. at Nordgren Memorial Chapel.
