Sheila M. Silva, 59, of Derry, NH, died Thursday, November 20, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Silva was born in Manhattan, NY on October 12, 1949, a daughter of the late Kevin King and the late Irene Mconagle. She was a resident of Derry for the past 13 years, formerly living in Somerville, MA and Medford, MA where she grew up. Mrs. Silva had been a longtime member of the Bible Speaks Church in Boston. Her family was her world, spending time doing anything with them was so very important to her.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Michael Silva of Derry, four children, Emilio Risoni of Hooksett, NH, Brianne Chouinard of Manchester, NH, Casey Silva of New Hope, PA, Michelle Silva of Manchester, four grandchildren, Cody Shuman of Manchester, Sean Risoni, Nick Risoni and Stefan Becksted, all of Hooksett, NH, two brothers, Kevin King of Gilford, NH, Robert Mconagle of Fitzwilliam, NH, three sisters, Cecilia Chicone of Derry, Irene Mconagle of Connecticut, Cheryl Saco of Florida, and also by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, James King and her sister, Mary Aloia.
Visiting hours were held from 1-3pm and 6-8pm on Monday, November 24, 2008 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A funeral service was held Monday at 8:00pm in the funeral home, with cremation following.
