Robert Clifton “Cliff” Rotenberry, age 65, passed away Wednesday, November 20, 2008 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, North MS in Oxford, MS. He was born to the late Robert Cooper Rotenberry and Dorothy Wilbourn Rotenberry McHugh in Water Valley, MS on December 8, 1942. Cliff graduated from Delta State with a Bachelor of Business degree and was the owner of Rasputan’s Restaurant. He was a member of New Life Fellowship in Oakland, MS.
The visitation will be at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Friday, November 21, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be at 2:00 Saturday, November 22, 2008 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home with the committal following the service at the Ford’s Well Church Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Smith will officiate the service.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice Rotenberry of Oakland, MS; one daughter, Tara Rotenberry of Water Valley, MS; one son, John Rotenberry of Water Valley, MS; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Johnson of Water Valley, MS; a stepson, Wayne Wilkins of Water Valley, MS; his mother, Delli Rotenberry of Coffeeville, MS; six sisters, Nancy Weems of Olive Branch, MS, Candy Tallant of Water Valley, MS, Robin Stewart of Olive Branch, MS, Karen Hancock of Water Valley, MS, Sharon Harbin of Grenada, MS, and Lynn Rotenberry of Coffeeville, MS; three brothers, Bobby Hutchins of Oxford, MS, Mike McHugh of Pearl, MS, and Bill Rotenberry of Coffeeville, MS; and four grandchildren, Michelle Wilkins, Candice Wilkins, Cory Johnson, and Cody Decker.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
