
Methuen, Ma. – Carmelina M. “Nellie” (Marconi) Peters, 85 yrs. died Thursday at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre.
Born in Lawrence, then Carmelina M. Marconi the daughter of Vincenzo and Maria (Borrelli) was a graduate of Lawrence High School class of “1941”. She went on to further her education by attending and graduating from McIntosh School of business. Carmelina was employed with Caritas Holy Family Hospital known then as Bon Secours Hospital as an accountant.
Mrs. Peters attended Saint Lucy Church of Methuen.
Survivors include her husband of 52 yrs. John J. Peters. Survivors include one daughter Marie E. and her husband Peter H. Meckl of Indiana, five grandchildren:Timmy Peters, Kris Peters, Paul Meckl, Kristina Meckl, and Kayla Meckl, one greatgrandson,Damien Peters, a daughter-inlaw Gail Peters, and several nieces and nephews.
Carmelina was the mother of the late John J. Peters II.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock in Saint Lucy Church Methuen with entombment to follow in Saint Mary- Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
Friends may call on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
