Mafalda Bieniecki, 95

Mafalda “Millie” (Cutillo) Bieniecki, 95, a lifelong resident of Mansfield passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 18, 2008 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro surrounded by her adoring family. She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Bieniecki, Sr. to whom she was wed to for over 66 years at the time of his death on January 13, 2000.
Born in Mansfield, MA on October 10, 1913 she was daughter of the late Savino and Angelarosa (Fiore) Cutillo.
She grew up in Mansfield and attended Mansfield public schools. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Bieniecki had worked at the Chocolate Factory in Mansfield. Throughout her years of employment she had served in various capacities.
A lifelong communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Mansfield, she was a former religious education teacher to the youths of the church. Millie was a big fan of New England sports teams, her favorite being the Boston Celtics and New England Patriots.
She enjoyed the many summers spent with family and friends at her cottage in Thompson, Conn., knitting, playing bingo and taking care of her homes and family. A wonderful cook, her family will always remember with fondness for her marvelous Italian cooking and baking skills.
She is survived by her loving children James E. Bieniecki, Jr. of Marco Island, Florida and Marjorie A. Randall of Mansfield, her devoted grandchildren Jeannette M. Randall of Mansfield, Robert J. Randall and his fiancée Joanna Black of Attleboro, Alexander J. Bieniecki of Lawrence and Dennis P. Bieniecki of Danville, Conn., her cherished 4 great grandsons Joshua, Vincent, Sean and Dante and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rose, Mabel, Jennie, Mary, Helen, Tony, Henry, Victor, Guy, Albert, Mike, Lou and Frank.
Her funeral, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Tuesday November 25th at 9:30 A.M. from the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home 55 North Main St. Mansfield followed by a Mass of Christian burial celebrated at 10:30 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Mansfield.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday November 24th from 5-8 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home.
