FAIRFAX, VA: Lois (Reeves) Goodwin, 86, formerly of Gloucester, died April 8, 2008, in Fairfax, Virginia. She was the wife of the late Charles A. Goodwin.
Born in Gloucester on November 26, 1921, she and her family worshipped at St. John’s Episcopal Church. She was a graduate of the Gloucester High School class of 1939. She worked as a secretary for the First National Bank of Boston.
In 1954, she and Charles were married and moved to Newton. In 1969, her family moved to South Carolina and then in 1977 relocated to Virginia, where she lived in Fredericksburg for nearly thirty years.
She is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Kevin Goodale, her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Beth Goodwin and two grandsons, Jason and Nathan Goodwin.
Her memorial service will be held on Saturday morning, November 22nd in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be held privately in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
