HARRINGTON, DE-Kathleen G. (Murphy) Carlson, 69, of Harrington, DE, died Friday, November 14th in Bayhealth Medical Center, Milford, DE. She leaves her husband of 51 years, Arthur K. Carlson; two daughters, Julie A. Sawicki and her husband Kevin of Stockbridge, GA and Gayle M. Lewis and her husband Scott of Dover, DE; a sister, Patricia A. Guillotte of Auburn; four grandchildren, Jennifer E. Littrell, Angela N. Westfall, Crystal D. Williamson and Matthew S. Lewis; three great grandchildren, Zachary P. and Xander S. Williamson and Karissa Littrell; several nephews and nieces.
Her daughter, Darlene M. Carlson died in 1976.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Edward F. and Catherine M. (Melesky) Murphy. Mrs. Carlson attended St. Peter’s High School and Salter Secretarial School. She was employed by several area companies as a secretary for many years. Mrs. Carlson enjoyed crafts and sewing.
The funeral is Tuesday, November 18th with a service at 11:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester, MA. Burial will be in All Faiths Cemetery, Worcester, MA. Calling hours are Monday, November 17th from 7:00 until 9:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 until 11:00 AM, in the funeral home.
