DOROTHY (GAMBLE) BROADLEYDorothy (Gamble) Broadley, 82, of No. Falmouth formerly of Needham died Wed April 23 at JML Care Center in Falmouth.Born in Needham she had lived in No. Falmouth for over 30 years. She had worked for Vital Needle in Needham and was Past Chief of the Pythian Sisters of Needham, Past President of VFW Auxiliary 2498 of Needham, and Past President of VFW Auxiliary of Norfolk County.Wife of the late Frederick L. “Turk” Broadley Jr. she is survived by her children Bernice Furlong of Windham NH, Janice Thurston of Millis, William Broadley of Needham, Dorothy Wheeler of Rochester, James Broadley of Medfield; her brothers James Gamble, and Lewis Gamble, and her sister Edith Coletti Pizzi; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Frederick L. Broadley III and sister of the late Helen Glenn, Vincent Gamble, William Gamble, and Alice Gamble.A funeral service will be held on Mon Apr 28 at 1:30 PM in the First Baptist Church in Needham 858 Great Plain Ave. Needham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment will follow at Needham Cemetery.
