Bailey, of N. Easton, April 18, 2003, Barbara L. (Fruzzetti) Bailey, 71 years. Beloved wife of John F. Bailey, devoted mother of JoAnne O’Brien of Randolph, Timothy Bailey of Bridgewater, Rose Porter of Berkley, Jean Olson of N. Easton and Joseph Bailey of Brockton. Grandmother of Stephanie Porter, Michael, Lauren and Andrea O’Brien, Melissa and Daniel Bailey and Elizabeth Olson.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, N. Easton at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting Hours Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8pm.

Obituary Information

Mrs. Bailey died Friday at Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Macheo and Josephine (Miga) Fruzzetti. She was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1949. She continued her education and earned her RN degree from the Carney Hospital School of Nursing. She had been employed as a nurse in the Brockton Hospital retiring in 1979 from the IV Therapy Department. She was an Antique Dealer in North Easton, a member of the Hockomock Association, and was very active with various antique shows.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years John F. Bailey, her children JoAnne O’Brien of Randolph, Timothy Bailey of Bridgewater, Rose Porter of Berkley, Jean Olson of N. Easton and Joseph Bailey of Brockton, seven grandchildren, two brothers Paul Fruzzetti of North Easton and Michael Fruzzetti of Nantucket, and many nieces and nephews.
