Manchester– Henry J. St. Pierre, 92, died November 13, 2008 at his home following a brief illness.
He was born in Saybec P.Q. Canada, on July 8, 1916 the son of Eustache and Genevieve (Gagne) St. Pierre.
Prior to his retirement he had been employed as a brick mason. He then worked for Granite State Machine Co.
His family was most dear to him.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years, Jeannette (Fournier) St. Pierre who died in 1996.
In His Life: Family members include 2 sons Roger St. Pierre and his wife Yvette (Deslile) St. Pierre of Buckley WA., Raymond St. Pierre and his wife Janet (Dumont) St. Pierre of Goffstown, 1 daughter Mrs. Rita (St. Pierre) Proulx, and her husband Dr. Norman Proulx, of Goffstown, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 1 sister Eugenie St. Pierre, 2 brothers Alphonse St. Pierre, and Msgr. Leo St. Pierre.
Services: Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 to 7 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10 am in Parish of the Transfiguration Church, corner of Youville and Kelley Sts.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
