JOSEPH M. CALLAHAN, 50, of Brentwood, CA, formerly of Hull, died on Saturday, Nov. 8th at his home after a long illness. He was born in Quincy and raised in Hull where he graduated from Hull High School. Mr. Callahan relocated to California 25 years ago where he worked as a self-employed plumbing contractor.
He leaves his daughter, Danielle Wallage and grand-daughter, Haley Bowman both of Brentwood, and his parents, Joseph R. Callahan of Hingham and Barbara (Karas) Callahan of Hull. He was the brother of Tammy Callahan of Hull, William Callahan of Naples, FL, Daniel Callahan of Weymouth, Mary Schultz of Africa, Theresa Bates of Middleboro and Dennis Ames of Danbury, CT. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A Prayer Service will be conducted on Monday, Nov. 17th at 9 AM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham. Friends may visit at the Downing Chapel on Sunday from 3-6 PM.
