Grace J. (Maguire) DiFabio, 88, died Sunday, November 9, 2008, at her home after a long period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Ugo DiFabio. Born and raised in Brighton, she was a graduate of St. Columbkille’s High School. She was a resident of Stoughton since 1949. Mrs. DiFabio worked as a secretary for Cumberland Farms in Canton for many years, retiring at age 72. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the Stoughton Senior Center. In her free time, she enjoyed dancing.
She is survived by her children: Paul G. DiFabio of Stoughton and Joan M. Shannahan and her husband Edward of Easton. She was the grandmother of Pamela Carew and her husband Charles of West Bridgewater and the great grandmother of Bethanne, Stephanie and Michelle Carew. She was the great-great grandmother of Ariani Viruet. She was the sister of the late Paul Maguire, William Maguire, Thomas Maguire, Mary Wersing, Jackie Maguire and Evelyn Cichese. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her care givers Lisa and Robert Kramer.
