TEWKSBURY - Jean A. Hamilton, age 36, died peacefully Monday evening at her Tewksburyhome, surrounded by her family, after a year long battle with Leukemia.

She was born in Boston, Dec. 27, 1966, a daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Conroy)Hamilton. She was raised in Tewksbury and graduated Tewksbury Memorial High School. Shelived in Jamaica Plain for 8 years before returning to Tewksbury one year ago.

She worked as a clerk at C.V.S., and earlier as a cook at Boston Chicken, both in Boston’sJamaica Plain neighborhood.

She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in Lowell.

She is survived by three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary M. Hamilton of Tewksbury, AnnM. Hamilton and her husband Philip Hamilton of MO, Barbara J. and her husband John Rocha ofLowell, three brothers, W. Michael Hamilton and his partner Daniel Collier of Billerica, John J.Hamilton of FL, and James P. Hamilton of Jamaica Plain, six nieces and nephews, Danny, Tina,Joey, and Mandy Rocha and Toby and Elizabeth Bonnell, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Her Funeral Mass was held Saturday, April 26, in the Immaculate Conception Church, Lowell. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery,No. Tewksbury.
