HOBBS, MARTIN EARL, 72 of Louisville, passed away at his home Sunday, November 9, 2008.
He was a native of Flaherty, KY, a retired supervisor for LG&E, a member of Incarnation Catholic Church, and a veteran of the National Guard.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Ann (Wathen) Hobbs.
Survivors include his wife Gwen F. (Dalton) Hobbs; his children, Gary Hobbs (JoAnn), Daniel Hobbs (Stacey) and Karen Hobbs; six granddaughters; brothers, Joe, LeRoy, and David Hobbs; and sisters, Mary Rose Steinbock, Genevieve Crutcher and Marcella Barger.
His funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Incarnation Catholic Church, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace.
Burial is in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: Tuesday, 1-9 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that expressions go to Hosparus of Louisville or Mass of the Air.
