Taunton; Adeline (Pina) Miranda, a lifelong resident of Taunton, died unexpectedly on Friday, November 7, 2008 at Life Care Center of Raynham. She was 86 years of age.
Adeline was the daughter of the late Antonio B. Pina and Eugenia B. (Duarte) Pina.
Mrs. Miranda resided on Church Street in Taunton and was employed as a Nurses Aid at Wedgemere Rehab. & Nursing Center of Taunton for over 20 years., retiring many years ago. She was a member of the Baptist Church of All Nations and a very devout Christian.
Adeline loved the Lord and her family dearly.
She enjoyed watching the Food channel on T.V., reading and crossword puzzles. She is survived by 6 children; Vivian L. Barrows of Taunton, Dennis Miranda of Illinois, Mrs. Kenneth (Beverly) Alves of Taunton, Anthony Miranda of Taunton, Mrs. Ventura B. (Lydia) M. Santiago of Wareham, and Mrs. Martin (Lisa) M. Levy of Florida. She was also the loving sister of Agnes Pina and Mrs. Daniel (Lillian) Rodrigues of Taunton, and the late Antonio, Julio, Joseph, Mabel, and Mary. She also leaves 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great, great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services will be held at the Taunton Funeral Home at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours are omitted at her request.
