WORCESTER__Leon Fredrick Burbo, 48, died Thursday, November 6, in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center.
He leaves his wife, Laurie (Kiefer) Burbo; two sons, Bryan and William Burbo, two daughters, Nina Giangregorio and her husband, Michael and Nicole Burbo, three brothers, John Burbo, Alan McKinney and Randy Burbo; six sisters, Lorna Liberty, Ruth Rivard, Mildred Courtney, Jean Ortiz, Bonnie Burbo and Debra Burbo, a grand daughter, Isabel Giangregorio, and many nephews and nieces.
Mr. Burbo was born in Worcester, a son of Levi Burbo and Ruth (Daigneault) Burbo McKinney and has lived here all his life. He was a self employed carpenter. He loved being a “Pepe” to Isabel.
The private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 12. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. is directing arrangements.
