Sister M. Paul (Bertha) Storin, 98, a Sister of Mercy for 53 years, died November 8, 2008, at the Warde Health Center in Windham, New Hampshire.
A native of East Boston, Mass., she was the daughter of George and Ellen (Touhy) Storin.
Sister Paul received a B.S. degree in business administration from Mt. St. Mary College in Hooksett, N.H. She also held a diploma in medical records administration from Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Sister Paul served in the business office at Sacred Heart Hospital in Manchester, N.H. After receiving her diploma in medical records administration, she returned to Sacred Heart Hospital and later Catholic Medical Center (CMC) in Manchester, where she worked in the medical records department from 1963 to 1985. She continued to serve on a part-time basis and as a consultant in the CMC medical records department until 1996. From 1996 to 1998 she was a volunteer at the Warde Health Center in Windham, N.H.
Sister Paul is survived by her sister-in-law, Ann Storin of Canton, Ohio. She was pre-deceased by her brother, George Storin.
Friends may call at the Warde Health Center, 21 Searles Road, Windham, New Hampshire, from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12. A prayer service will be held in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, Sisters of Mercy in Windham at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mercy Chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 13. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bedford, NH
