Giuseppa Bonomo, 81 of Somerville formerly of Sicily died Friday after a brief illness in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital, Medford, MA.
Born in Sicily she has lived in Somerville since 1970 and was the daughter of the late Angela (Polizzi) and Angelo Mistretta. Beloved wife of Giuseppe Bonomo. Devoted mother of Giuseppa Pavia of Switzerland, Angela LaBella of Woburn, Giovanni Bonomo of West Roxbury, Angelo Bonomo of Italy, Salvatore Bonomo of Tewksbury, and Loredana Nicolas of Quincy. Also survived by 16 loving grandchildren and 7 loving great grandchildren. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
